I'm blogging from Edmonton right now - a 3 hr. drive each way all to attend half a day of conference! At least it's cheap =) I never realized how little "alone" time I've had lately, but I find I'm enjoying this little respite from human interaction =)
| ESTJ - "Administrator". Much in touch with the external environment. Very responsible. Pillar of strength. 8.7% of total population. |
Surprise surprise. I am "organized, group oriented, focused, leader, emotionally stable, attention seeking, planner, realistic, fearless, responsible, finisher, decisive, norm following, punctual, hard working, self confident, follows the rules, clean, outgoing, social, content, does not like being alone, normal, regular, does not like weird or strange people / things - intolerant of differences, strict, disciplined, aggressive, assertive, content, happy, proper, formal". In other words - square.
This weekend my godsister, Roz, came up to Calgary for a volleyball tournament. And seeing as I adore Roz and Kev is into volleyball, we decided to check it out this afternoon. After being thoroughly impressed with Roz's skillz, we took a walk around and watched some of the other teams. We were sitting in the bleachers watching a boys' 16 and under game, and during one of the breaks in play, started chatting with the guy beside us. So trying to be polite and all, Kev asks him "so is your son on the team?" "Oh yeah, he's number 4. What about you? Are you Joe's parents?"
AM I JOE'S PARENT??? WTF... For us to have been Joe's parents, we would have to have conceived him at the ripe old age of 5. OMG...
I'm determined to out-do everyone else in the exclamation mark department to show the entire world how ridiculously proud I am of you! You are amazing, stupendous, glorious, phat, scholarly, magnificent, awe-inspiring, remarkable, wonderful, astounding, extraordrinary, impressive, marvelous, astonishing and stupefying! I wish they made emoticons that could encapsulate all of that! Eek! So happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Home for almost 24 hours already and it's been awesome. No more strange roommate whose singing I can hear through the ducts at 1 in the morning (Candice will tell you all about it), no more cooking, no more class =) Aah...only sushi and climbing and walks and friends and good weather and... my own room... without having to go into the walk-in closet to get some privacy =)
Coming up, I have a whole week full of nothing =) Just taking some time off, rearranging my room (which hasn't changed at all since the 10th grade), and playing chauffer to my Grandma (and hopefully getting some dimsum in return =)
Yays!!!
